Ducati Corse 916 955 996 Racing RS Factory crank crankshaft Albero Motore

Genuine Ducati Corse 916 Racing / 955 crankshaft.

This crankshaft was remanufactured because it had some wear from normal use (no damage because of failing bearings and with that the risk of a failing / breaking crank).

Here’s what’s done:

• Professionally regrinded to the 1st grinding diameter (41,75mm).
• Newly plasma nitrated;
• Both round- and hardness were checked
• Balanced to Pankl Titanium H-profile conrods with Genuine Omega 96mm (955) pistons.

If you ever tested a crankshaft straight from a new Ducati engine, you’ll understand why this crank is better than new.*

* (not that this is that hard to achieve knowing the factory cranks aren’t well balanced at all to put it mildly)
